Meet Lola

To thirteen-year-old Lola, the world is not a very magical place. She often gets in trouble, whether it’s with her parents, who find her rich imagination a bit tiresome, or at school, where the teachers see her as being far too dramatic. But Lola knows she is meant to do more in life, like maybe save the day…someday.

Hi, my name is LOLA, and this is my story. They say everyone has at least one story in them and that it helps to make sense of your life if you write it down, in case you forget it later. So here I am, keeping a log of my life. I hope it will be a long life, filled with wonderful adventures that I can share with you.

I am thirteen going on 21 (or so I’m told).
I get myself into trouble ALL the time.
I love action, running, jumping, kicking, climbing things; you get the picture. I LOVE big boots (easy to run, jump and kick things).
I am always changing my hair colour, it’s bright blue right now, but last week it was bright pink.
I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains in Australia.
I’m going to be a world famous adventuress one day.
I am a BIG list writer, I even write lists about writing lists.
I have two amazing friends that stick by me no matter what.
I love all animals and insects, but especially butterflies and dragonflies.

An exhilarating and heartfelt story of adventure and intrigue, The Adventures of Lola proves you don’t have to stick to the status quo to save the day.

Written with wit and gripping insight into what it takes for young individuals to stand up for what is right, The Adventures of Lola is dazzling in its magic and excitement.

The Adventures of Lola is an enchanting and thrilling adventure series following the journey of a girl who refuses to back down – one who just might save the day.
